I know what you’re thinking, another pink outfit and another pink house I’m standing in front off – But I just can’t resist! There are so many beautiful pink pieces out in stores at the moment and I can’t help but pick them up.
This new addition to my wardrobe is from Zara, I bought it last Saturday and wore it on the Sunday because I just fell head-over-heels for it. Firstly, the pattern is a beautiful, almost Asian inspired print with small ditsy flower design. I love the clash of colour between the red flowers, pink background and then the touches of green. My favourite thing other than the colour/print is the neckline of this dress; I don’t know how to describe it but it’s a almost square neck button up dress with a relaxed collar, rather than a shirt type collar. It’s super flattering and gives me all those 60s vibes that you all know I adore! This dress does come up a little on the larger size so I would recommend going for your usual size or even sizing down. It comes in at the waist but not too fitted, it does have a more smock style, which I love. It then flows out beautifully into a skater skirt. (I can’t find the dress to link on Zara’s website, but I got mine in store)
I’ve paired this dress with another new purchase of mine, these beautiful Calvin Klein shoes from T.K.MAXX. Again, these very 60s inspired and I think they pair with this dress perfectly. These little pumps are super comfortable with a lovely little heel. They really are just a simple classic shoe that I know I’m going to wear to death.
Lastly, this little bag you’ve seen before, it’s been in my wardrobe for a while but I find it so useful for evening occasions.
P.s I know it looks like I’ve tried to weirdly smooth my legs but I was actually just wearing nude tights – no strange editing here, aha!
