For me the start of June is the start of summer so I am starting to make those minor changes to transition my wardrobe from spring to summer – however only slightly as our summer isn’t much warmer than spring here in England, but it is always nice to hope for glorious, glorious summer weather.
For the past month I have been utterly obsessed with shoes, so much so that throughout May I bought six new pairs of shoes (I know, I know, completely excessive and unnecessary, but I couldn’t resist!) I always find my shoe-drobe is full of winter appropriate shoes but never have the right pair to go with my spring/summer pieces so I felt the need to invest in some.
I have put together another six pairs that I am currently lusting over and persuading myself not to buy, but I can’t promise anything!

P.s Just wanted to say how sad I am to hear the passing of Kate Spade. Her creativity, imagination and designs have inspired me for a long, long time. I wrote my dissertation on her fashion brand at university where I connected with her and her company even more. My thoughts are with her family and friends. Rest in peace, Kate Spade.
