We are half way through the year, half way – Can you believe it?! Before we know it we’ll be hanging up Christmas decorations and there will be snow on the ground again. Though, for now lets enjoy the sunshine whilst it is here!
May was a sad month for me and my family, we lost our family dog Shadow, a couple of weeks ago and it still feels a little raw, especially for my Mum. But we are so lucky for the 14 years he gave us and I know we all gave him the best life possible!
My parents also celebrated their anniversary this month and we had a massive, super delicious Chinese and looked through their wedding album – It was one of my favourite nights.
Al and I took my Mum to Exbury Gardens last weekend which she loved, me and Al always go there but my Mum hadn’t been there since she was a little girl with her Mum so it was a proper treat for her to go back.
Lastly, May really has been the month of family BBQs we have had SO many already and they have all been super delicious but not very good for my waistline.
As for June I am so excited for more beautiful weather, for the summer season to start, my sisters birthday, more family BBQs, picnics and just genuinely enjoying life! (Gosh, I am getting corny, aren’t I?)
I hope you all have a glorious June filled with delicious BBQs, beautiful sunshine, and all things that bring you sunshiny-happiness!
