This post is a little later than usual but it has been a pretty hectic week this week and I must admit, I did spend yesterday being very lazy in the garden, soaking up the glorious weather we have had on this bank holiday weekend. But today, I spent the morning creating some new content, shot 3 new looks for the blog which are coming up over the next few weeks, and now I’m here writing this post!
April was a lovely month; Al & I both celebrated our birthdays, I caught up with my besties which was long-overdue and I already can’t wait to see them again, we made our first trip to Exbury Gardens of the year (again, planning our next visit to see the wisteria this summer), we had our first BBQ of the year and as I type this we are preparing for our next one, well actually our third one this bank holiday weekend – what can we say, we just love our food. Even though the end of April felt like it took ages to come around, it was actually a wonderful month with lots of memories.
Now that May is here, I am so happy to see some actual sunshine, this long weekend has honestly been so beautiful – I just wish the weather would last, I guess we shall see.
This May I really want to get my but into shape and try and exercise more and eat healthier. April was a really unhealthy month and even thought this is our third BBQ of the weekend, I am looking forward to having a bit of a cleanse. I’m not really looking to lose too much weight, I just want to feel more comfortable and less cautious of my belly! So, please pray for me as exercise isn’t something I’m great at nor is saying no to cake!
Otherwise for May, I’m just excited to create more spring/summer content, wear pretty dresses and make the most of British Summer weather whilst we have it.
So, here’s to a glorious, sunny and blooming beautiful May of new season flowers, longer days, good food and feeling great – Cheers!
