Hello Sunshine ft Ditsy Florals

Spring has finally sprung here in the UK! Or, at least for the weekend I shot this outfit. To celebrate the start of warm spring days Al and I headed to one of our favourite spots here in the New Forest, Exbury Gardens. At Exbury Gardens they have miles and miles of beautiful gardens to walk around including many blossom trees in all the different shades and styles, from cherry blossom to magnolia they showcase all of the stunning seasonal blooms.

Because of this nice weather, like every other Brit, I got a little over excited and got out my pale bare legs (I don’t tan, so prepare to see these pale pins all summer – sorry!), wore my new favourite dress and straw bag:

This beautiful button-down tea dress is from New Look; I haven’t shopped in New Look in a good couple of years due to finding it over priced and low quality but on my birthday shop I popped in and found some goodies, including this little number. I think the ditsy floral in red and white is the perfect spring go-to, and the button detailing gives it that vintage vibe, which I adore.

I paired it with this new straw tote from Primark that reads ‘Hello Sunshine’ – Though I did look awfully silly holding this when the rain started coming down! Nonetheless, when I first saw this tote in Primark’s shop window I knew I had to have it, and I think it’s going to be a big hit this spring/summer. It’s the perfect medium size to fit all of your essentials and little more. I carried my purse, phone, keys, camera and spare lenses as well as folding up my rain mac in there too – so it really does hold a good amount.

Other accessories include these nude/pink brogues from ASOS which you have seen before and will likely see again soon and these new sunnies which again are from Primark. Though, I really ought to get some prescription ones so I can drive in them too.

I hope you’ve enjoyed the sunshine and hopefully it will stay…fingers crossed!
