All The Spring Frills

I have always very much been a dress/skirt kinda girl and rarely wear jeans apart from dress-down Fridays in the office or on the occasional errand running Sunday afternoon. But as of late, I’ve been lusting over blouses and pretty tops that work best dressed with jeans – I guess you could call them ‘statement tops’ that are full of pretty, feminine detailing that only require the simplest of jeans to work with and still leaves your outfit looking oh so darling!

This stunning blouse I picked up in Primark of all places, it features delicate eyelet detailing in the shape of flowers, a frill high-neck, elasticated wrists with flute detailing right on the tips, with further frills around the bust and shoulder areas – So beautiful!

This blouse is a little oversized with slightly puffy sleeves, but I think that just adds to the bohemian, feminine look.  It finishes just below the hips and I adore how it looks with these mid wash blue Joni jeans from Topshop.

With this simple look, I like to add a simple but trend statement bag which is why i chose this circle bag (we all know this is the bag trend of the spring season, they are stunning!) – This particular one is in the perfect soft pink which I always love pairing with these nude/pink ASOS brogues – They make the loveliest combo.

Are you loving frill this season?
