The Sunday Series: Vol. 1

Today I want to introduce a new series to my blog; The Sunday Series. Within this series I want to share with you my top article reads, favourite beauty and fashion finds, new books and any other must-shares I’ve recently found. This series may be weekly or every other week, depending on how everything goes, but eventually I would like it to be weekly (I just don’t want it to be the only post every week)!

  1. Get Your Sh*t Together by Sarah Knight“How to stop worrying about what you should do so you can finish what you need to do and start doing what you want to do.” – I ordered this book online after reading Sarah’s first book ‘The Life Changing Magic of Not Giving a F**k!’ (which is another fantastic read). I’m only a few chapters into this second book of Knight’s but I am already in love with it. Like her first book, it is an easy, funny and knowledgable read which is helping me re-organise my mental space and helping my to actively ‘get my sh*t together’ and be more productive with my time as well as helping me balance work and fun – and save money (yes!)
  2. Easter cake recipe by BBC Good Food – Now, I love spring and Easter, and Easter bank holiday weekend is just around the corner and it is one of my favourite weekends to spend with family and spending quality time with Al. This week I have been pursuing some utterly delicious cake recipes to bake for the upcoming weekend. Today I already made mini Easter nests with Al, but this recipe is giving me all the yummy Easter feels! What cakes do you love to bake this time of year?
  3. 10 Career Habits to Master in your 20s by The Every Girl – Are you in your early 20s like me and only been on the career ladder for a year or so? Then take a read of this article from The Every Girl, it’s got points from stepping out of your comfort zone to giving and taking constructive feedback (this can be hard, trust me!) and networking with an executive mindset.
  4. Warehouse Lace Tea Dress via ASOS – I’ve been searching for the perfect white dress for a little while, and while this isn’t quite the style I’ve been looking for, it is one I have fallen for! I’m thinking of buying it for my birthday dress, what are your thoughts? Or do you know of any other places where I can find the perfect white summer dress – Let me know! But for now, I’ll be waiting for payday so I can snap this one up.

I hope you like this new series and the bits I’ve shared today!
