In February, I signed up to Birch Box, which is a monthly subscription for a beautiful box of make-up and cosmetic goodies. The majority are samples but generally two are full sized products. It basically allows you to try different brands and types of skincare and other cosmetics without having to pay out for full size and price.
Because I signed up at the end of Feb I received the February box 2 days before this March one so didn’t post about it. However, I just could not hold back from sharing this with you any longer, eeek! Let’s get to it…
From left to right…
+ ModelCo More Brows • This came as a full-size product and is probably my fav in the whole box. It is a liquid/gel-like formula which dries leaving the brows fuller, thicker and in a neater shape within 60 seconds of drying time. Laaaaav it!
+ Phillip B Drop Dead Straightening Baume • You apply this to towel dried hair and it shortens your drying time and gives your hair a sleek, smooth finish. I think it did work slightly but I wasn’t overly impressed. And it also smelt a bit funky (not a good funky either).
+ Polaar Polar Night Cream • This is another great product. It’s basically a night cream with a formula that works whilst you sleep, which I think is fab! But what is even more amazing is the enriched ingredients react to the light of the moon, this promotes cell regeneration for a radiant complexion. Now, to be honest, I haven’t really used it enough to say this has worked, but it does feel great on the skin. It is quite thick compared to other night creams but I quite like that and it is not heavy on the skin. I am tempted to purchase a full sized tub already tho!
+ Arrow Boost Colour Enhancing Lip Balm • This product comes from a vegan brand which is something I am trying to look out for more in cosmetic products. You basically apply it to your lips and it enhances the colour of them. Tho you must remember that it does this and not carelessly apply it like other lip balms, ’cause you will look silly! It’s a v. sciencey lip balm which adjusts to your pH and looks unique to each person. Pretty cool, huh!
+ Beauty Protector Beauty Wash • I’m not going to pretend that I’ve used this product yet, because I haven’t. You basically add it to your bath or use it as a body wash. It doesn’t smell to shabby either.
+ Number 4 Lumiere D’hiver Reconstructing Masque • I’m planning on using this one tonight because it sounds AMAZING! You basically apply it to your hair after shampooing and rinse after 5 minutes. It is basically an SOS for your hair, and leaves it restores as it is filled with goodness for your hair!
